Our Story
Ajooba was born from the realization that traditional contribution groups (Ajo, Esusu, Susu) were still being managed through spreadsheets, paper, and endless WhatsApp messages. We saw an opportunity to bring these vital community savings circles into the digital age while preserving their core values of trust and community.
Our platform makes it easy for group managers to run multiple contribution cycles, track payments, and manage members - all from their mobile phones. Members can participate seamlessly, build reputation, and grow their savings with people they trust.
Our Mission
Ajooba is a commercial but independent arm of the Royal Scholars Foundation. Revenue generated from the Ajooba platform is used alongside grants and donations to fund the foundation's mission of providing educational opportunities to bright Nigerian students.
